“As a CD I focus on conceptual proposals and the process laid out in this course brought to light some pieces, like a concept video, that I would never had thought I would be able to develop to help tell a more complete story. There are so many AI tool options (paid and free) that I didn’t know where to begin. It felt overwhelming. What surprised me most was how much I enjoyed the process. Marlene was fun to watch and engage with and explained things in a way that were easy to follow and understand. Now I’ve been able to have more intelligent conversations with colleagues and even recommend tools they might want to bring into their project work. My current focus has been on the creative brief and using AI has cut down on the research time considerably. This course truly gave me empowerment.”

“I am truly grateful to Marlene for this remarkable program! It took us on a transformative journey - from crafting a creative profile to deep research, developing a concept’s look and feel, and finally bringing ideas to life through image creation and a stunning concept film. Every step was explained in detail, with engaging examples that made the process clear and inspiring. A heartfelt thank you for this incredible learning experience! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to master creative control in the AI era.”

"Your course taught me a process for holding the structure of a creative project from start to finish. The biggest surprise was discovering where AI is most valuable. Previously, I thought of it as something that produces a finished product, with minimal input from the operator. I realize now that I had it backwards. Your AI process taught me to turn my thinking into a reference so that my most salient thoughts become the pillars of my projects. I am walking away with an overall better workflow, organization, and front end design process. You hit the nail right on the head. I learned a professional creative process by which I can easily cross-check my work with my intention, and make organized revisions when they aren't in sync. I would say, suspend your judgement about AI and take the course. Regardless of the tool (it could be AI, CAD, CAM, or something else) Marlene's approach to creative thinking is elevating. And when paired with AI, it's accelerating. Creative Control in the Age of AI gave me a jumpstart on a tool that I didn't understand and wouldn't have known how to learn.”

“I would describe what I gained as an a-z learning curve. It's fun & offers quick and hands-on learning on how to use AI. I have more courage. I’m walking away with a video I can use for promo and the ability to create more. This course truly gave me a way to sway with AI (wish that would rhyme😁).”

"Thank you for your fantastic and very inspiring course! What impressed me most was the diversity you delivered so professionally and structured in such a short time! There were so many – for me – new, valuable, and inspiring tips, like a colorful bouquet of tulips you gave me! (Insights into various AI tools, from text to images to video, as well as working methods, how to prompt, and lots of side information on what works best where and how...) I hadn't delved into AI that deeply before, but now I'm really keen for MORE! I'm very happy with what I've learned and, of course, also with my results."

“You’ve made complex tech feel accessible. Your practical examples have turned my AI overwhelm into excitement. It’s been a creative awakening. Thank you Marlene! I completely fell in love with the creative process. This course has opened up a whole new world for me. I've gone from fearing AI to fully embracing it as a creative process. I was amazed by how much I learned in just four weeks! Coming in with no experience, I never imagined I'd be creating content so quickly. While I don't have a formal design background, I'm preparing for a career in coaching and education. This course helped me develop creative skills that will be valuable for creating engaging educational content and marketing materials in my future work. I'm walking away with real confidence in using these tools. Most exciting is knowing how to incorporate AI into creating marketing materials, for my future work in coaching and education. This course turned my AI anxiety into excitement. Now I actually enjoy creating marketing content instead of dreading it. This course gave me the confidence and skills to turn ideas into professional-looking content effortlessly, and completely changed how I view working with AI. I went from zero AI skills to creating full concept films, something I never thought possible in just four weeks. More importantly, I feel I have overcome my fear of AI, it’s now an exciting part of my creative toolkit instead of something intimidating.”

“I have always been intimidated by technology and mystified by how these tools work and I was really curious to see how other creatives navigate these challenges. As the current climate regarding AI can be rather divisive, it is eye opening to see how to adopt these tools. Personally I am not a tech savvy person so it has been a joy to get the opportunity to learn from an expert creative in this field. I learnt how to research, generate concepts, prototype ideas quickly and understand the challenges in regards to ethics surrounding this emerging field and learn and align the tools to my values. Marlene has done a great job in demystifying AI. It was also really rewarding to learn about her process and see how other students approach adopting these tools!”

“Before the course I wanted to stay up to date with Ai as a tool to create, create faster, support concept phase process. I was not expecting learning the diversity and unending possibilities to create visuals, stories, put together a project that makes sense and uses so many references from the world. I’m walking away with the outcome that I can control much more the creation of concept visuals, not depending on concept artists or 3D renderers - currently I need these skills at work A LOT! But I cannot render my ideas quickly - the team is too junior and myself I stopped rendering after grad school! This course truly gave me great ai tools to explore, a tool set to keep with me, motivation to create more and more. THANK YOU! I can see all the time you put into this course, You are doing it really great - you have my admiration. I would say “TAKE IT!!!!” to anyone asking me about this course.”

"I really appreciated how the course emphasised retaining creative control throughout the process. That’s something I was initially cautious about and I think it's a fair and common criticism of AI in the creative industries. There's a perception that using AI means handing over the reins or compromising originality, especially when it's used to generate finished outputs without much human input. But this course shifted my perspective. By positioning AI as a tool within the creative workflow, not the final destination, it helped me see its value in enhancing, rather than replacing, the creative process. I found that I remained the driver of the concept, tone, and vision, while AI helped accelerate certain stages, like generating ideas, exploring visual directions, or drafting copy. It’s similar to working with a very fast, very responsive collaborator who’s there to support, not override. Now I look at AI less as a threat to creativity and more as a productivity amplifier, one that lets me spend more time refining the creative direction and less time on repetitive or administrative tasks. It’s a subtle shift, but a powerful one that’s already changing how I approach my creative work. What I gained was a structured, thoughtful approach to integrating AI as a creative collaborator, not just a utility. The practical example pitch for an immersive exhibition concept put the learning into practice and allowed me to apply the tools within a real-world creative context, exploring how AI can support ideation, narrative development, and audience engagement strategies. It was a valuable opportunity to move beyond theory and into applied, creative thinking. I've become faster at generating imagery for proposals and I've come away from this with a really good foundational understanding of how to integrate AI into my workflows and I'm inspired to build upon this going forward."

“Creative Control in the Age of AI” completely changed the way I approach AI in my creative work. Before this course, AI felt random and overwhelming, but now I see it as a structured tool that enhances my vision rather than replacing it. The instructor’s expertise is undeniable—she breaks down complex ideas into clear, actionable steps and knows exactly how to harness AI for stunning design concepts. She doesn’t just use AI; she sculpts form and space with digital hands. Thanks to her guidance, I now have the confidence to integrate AI into my work while staying in full control of my creative direction. A must for any creator navigating this new era! I think you had a great idea to integrate an entire process into this course. We are all tired of the basics and we know where to find them. What you offer in this course is really valuable, precisely because you provide students with skills training and not just simple knowledge. I was pleasantly surprised that I can do it! Now I have the ability to creatively use new AI tools. I significantly improved the way I research and organize my sources and information. I created AI-powered imagery in a controlled manner. Thank you, it was a wonderful journey!”

“I like that this is specifically tailored to the exhibition design process and it's helpful to see how all the tools can be used to achieve the best results. Most of my colleagues already use midjourney and ChatGPT, but not everyone is using these tools as fluently as you do, which I think others can benefit from. Learning more than one tool to help organize ideas in the process was very helpful. With a full-time job, it's difficult, it still takes me time and effort to investigate each tool, but I’ve already seen results in my work because I can use example prompts from the course and am hoping to refine and adapt on my own. This is definitely a course appropriate for anyone who would like to take a deep dive into exploring all the available AI tools to generate content to assist their creative process quickly.”

“This course is a lot more than just a “how-to” for AI tools, it’s a mindset shift. For creatives who are curious about AI but unsure where to start, like I was, or worried it might replace them, this course shows you how to make AI your partner to enhance your unique voice and style. Marlene is the best kind of a teacher, easy to follow and engaging! The course was a lot of fun, but it was also genuinely inspiring. In such a short time, you’ll gain practical skills and unlock new ways of thinking that will elevate your workflow, spark new ideas, and open the door to exciting creative possibilities. This course gave me wings! It inspired me to dive deeper into AI and think about new possibilities for integrating it into exhibition and experience design. Thanks to my new favorite creative collaborator, I feel more confident and excited about the direction I want to take next. One of the pleasant surprises was the research part and the synergy between two or more different types of software. it shifted my thinking from trying to achieve perfection to embracing discovery, which ultimately made the experience much more rewarding. I gained a thoughtful and structured approach to integrating AI into my creative process, not just how to use the tools, but why and when to use them, and how they work together. Using AI as my collaborator, I now feel more confident in applying AI to enhance concept development, streamline workflows, and push the boundaries of what’s possible creatively, while still maintaining my own voice and vision. I’ve seen a noticeable boost in both the speed and quality of my creative output. I performed every part of the process more efficiently, with just as good results, if not better. AI has also inspired me with its solutions whether that was research or visuals. In addition to opening up more of the fascinating AI world, I have confirmed that I want AI to be something I do on a daily basis, preferably my real job. Marlene, thank you for this incredible and generous opportunity, it’s truly been a game-changer and has transformed my professional life!”

“I highly recommend this course to spatial designers. Marlene is not only deeply knowledgeable but also passionate about building a welcoming, inspiring learning environment. This course goes beyond just teaching tools. It guides you through a complete creative process that builds real confidence in using AI from concept to presentation. Even when I couldn’t attend the weekly online meetings, I appreciated the sense of belonging to a global, like-minded community passionate about learning and creating. That energy was incredibly motivating. I’ve always wanted to incorporate AI tools into my workflow, but wasn’t sure where to start or how to use them effectively. This course gave me creative confidence. It bridged the gap between curiosity and application, empowering me to use AI as a professional tool confidently, purposefully, and creatively. Learning through the full creative process gave me the confidence to use AI tools professionally. I discovered a range of platforms and learned which ones are best suited to different stages of visual development. I now spend far less time thinking about how to write prompts. While I’m still experimenting, my workflow is already much faster and more intuitive. I learned that each AI visualization tool has its own distinctive style, even when using the same prompts. Choosing the right tool can really improve productivity. At the same time, I realized that AI doesn't necessarily save time unless I know which tool fits each task. Mastery takes practice. I’ve learned so much, not only from the content, but also from observing how you built a thoughtful, connected community around it. Thank you for your time, kindness, and passion. I truly enjoyed this journey with your class.”

“The course not only gave me a great overview of various AI applications in the creative field, but also taught me concrete ways of working and prompting techniques that I could immediately integrate into my creative process. Marlene is truly a professional in her field and has awakened in me a real enthusiasm for the subject! I will certainly dive deeper into the topic and include AI in my next projects. Maybe there was some hesitation or shyness before.... that's definitely gone now, and I really want more of it! THANK YOU!!! i really enjoyed this 4-week journey with you.”

“This course truly gave me confidence to present my ideas. I've been hearing that AI does incredible work and I decided to give it a try. I was only using it for editing images in photoshop before. What surprised me most about my own learning journey was the enthusiasm I put into the project without feeling judged. I have less hesitation to experiment ideas and I feel more confident putting written concepts with AI. I would encourage designers to take the course because it prompts you to explore old ideas that you were afraid or lazy to put together. It definitely made a huge impact on the time it takes me to put together decks. From this course I gained a more relaxed and creative way to generate concept visuals. I feel like the integration of AI in my creative process has helped me to think outside of the box.”

“I love how you professionally explain all the details of the movie preparation with technical details. That was just what I needed now. I have to come back to it over and over again and I am still finding details and information you are sharing with us and is packed to this course. It is like a university module for the whole semester. I got so much information from this course. It is almost a university module on film making from the point of concept, color schemes, narrators, client perspective, images creation, mood and emotion setting, editing, cut, connecting scenes, and of course AI prompts. Now I understand much more about movie creation and I am capable of preparing short movies which I can look back to and understand what I did and why. I realised that I am not as creative as I thought I am but with the focus and information from your course I can learn fast. Thank you for a wonderful and very informative course”
